Usage calculation with subscription plans and credits

When you use Moosend, you can choose to purchase a subscription plan, buy credits, or maintain both a subscription plan and credits. If you have both, it's important to understand how your usage is calculated.

With a subscription plan, you pay for your subscription monthly, bi-annually (every six months), or annually (every 12 months). Each subscription plan has a limit on the number of active subscribers you can have in your account, such as 5,000 active subscribers in a 5K plan.

On the other hand, credits allow you to purchase additional email sends as needed, with each credit equal to one email sent to one recipient. If you want to send a campaign to 5,000 email addresses, for example, you need to have 5,000 credits.

If you have both a subscription plan and credits in your account, your usage is covered by your subscription plan as long as you stay within your plan's limit for active subscribers. For example, if your plan allows for 5,000 active subscribers, you can send emails to all of them without using your credits.

However, if you exceed the maximum allowed number of subscribers in your plan, your usage will be charged against your credits. This means that if you have 10,000 email addresses in your list and you want to send a campaign to all of them, the entire 10,000 will be deducted from your credit balance.
