What are the Editor Drafts and how can I use them?

You've had a change of mind - hey, it happens to the best of us! Even more so if you're trying your best to design the perfect newsletter. It takes time to fit all the pieces in a nice, cohesive and sweet-looking way. That's why we added a few options to our Campaign Editor, which will be of great assistance as you reassess your work and push it to new levels of awesomeness!

The Editor Drafts are just readily available saved versions of your newsletter design, which you can create as you go along. This means that you can (and that you should!) save your progress inside the Editor at frequent intervals, so that you always have the fall-back option of being able to revisit a design version that you're most happy with.

Keep in mind that the Moosend Editor will automatically create drafts of your design every now and then, but since Editor Drafts make for a smooth way of comparing different design choices instantly, why not make some of your own and use them creatively?

Let's see how you can get crafty with drafts:

A. Saving a Draft

1. Click on the disk-shaped Save Draft button, located on the top left corner of your Editor page.
Save a draft by clicking on the Save button

Make sure that you choose the leftmost disk-shaped button! A green pop-up window appears to inform you that the draft has been saved. If you haven't made any changes, the same pop-up will let you know that saving a new draft is unnecessary.

B. Loading a Draft

1. Click on the Drafts button, in the form of a folder, located on the top left side of your Editor page.
Load Draft 1 : Click on the Drafts button

A list with all available drafts, sorted from newest to oldest, appears on the left side of your screen. Drafts are indicated by date and time of creation, so it's easy to figure out which one was the last one you worked on. Auto-saved drafts are marked accordingly.

2. Click on the draft you want to work on.
Load Draft 2 : Select a draft campaign to work on

3. Click the OK button on the pop-up window that appears.
Load Draft 3 : Click OK to proceed

By restoring a draft any unsaved data of your current work will be lost. If you change your mind you can always click on the Cancel button.

4. Click on the BACK TO EDIT MODE button, located on the top left side corner of the Drafts page, if you change your mind and don't want to take advantage of any draft that you've made so far.
Load Draft 4 : Click on the Back to Edit Mode button to return

You are now ready to work on the selected version of your design. Don't forget that you always have the option of going back and forth to other design versions as you so wish. Unleash that creative instinct!
