When you insert a personalization tag (such as the Recipient Name tag #recipient:name#) inside the content of your newsletter, it will look something like this:

B. Adding personalization tags
The quickest and most practical way to insert personalization tags in your newsletters is through Moosend's campaign editor, by editing a simple text component so that it becomes a personalization tag.
The campaign editor gives you the designer's birds-eye view which proves extremely helpful when deciding how to perfectly piece each personalization tag inside your design, but is by no means the only way you can add tags to your content. As is typical of Moosend, we make sure that you can work the way you like, from manually adding tags to using the readily available Add personalization tags drop-down menu on the Define Content step of the campaign creation process - there's always room to spontaneously polish your content.
