Set up a CNAME on your NameCheap provider

Properly setting up CNAMES for your hosting provider helps ensure that any changes required for your custom domain can be carried out with maximum efficiency and minimum disruption. Setting up your CNAME on your NameCheap provider is a fairly simple process, so let's see how it's done:

1. Log in to your NameCheap account.

2. Select Dashboard from the Account drop-down menu.

3. Click on Domain List and then click on the Manage button located next to the specific domain you wish to set up.

4. Click on Advanced DNS.

5. Locate the Host Records section and then click on the Add New Record button.

6. In the Type drop-down menu, select CNAME Record and enter your subdomain as the host (for example, "www" if your domain is www.mydomain.com, or "newsletter" if it is newsletter.mydomain.com).

7. Under Valueenter the URL of your login page in our platform.

If your site address is mydomain.com then your login page in our platform is mydomain.moosend.com. You have to add a CNAME record to your DNS for your domain, a subdomain similar to the newsletter.mydomain.com example. Whatever your CNAME record is, it will need to point to mydomain.moosend.com.

 8. Click Save all changes to complete the process.

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for your newly-created records to propagate.
