How do I add a link in my landing page ?

So let's see how inventive you can be:

A. Adding a Link

1. Drag-n'-drop a Text Element in the Container of your choice.

2. Click on the Text Element you just added.

3. Type in the text of your choice in the available area.

4. Select the text you want to act as a link.

5. Click on the Link button, located on the text editor area above your Text Element.

Alternatively you can use the (Ctrl+L) key combo. A pop-up window appears.

6. Click on the Link Type drop-down menu, located on the Link Info tab of the Link pop-up.

You can choose between:

  • URL
  • Link to anchor in the text
  • E-mail

Β. Setting up a URL link

1. Choose the URL option from the Link Type drop-down menu, located on the Link Info tab of the Link pop-up.

2. Choose the appropriate option from the Protocol drop-down menu.

Your choices are:

  • http://
  • https://
  • ftp://
  • news://
  • <other>

3. Type in the URL to which you want to direct people, in the available URL field.

4. Click on the Target tab, located on the Link Info tab of the Link pop-up.

5. Choose the appropriate option from the Target drop-down menu.

The Target determines how the target of the URL you added will appear after the user has clicked on the link. Your choices are:

  • <not set>
  • <frame>
  • <popup window>
  • New Window (_blank)
  • Topmost Window (_top)
  • Same Window (_self)
  • Parent Window (_parent)

6. Click on the OK button when you're done.

C. Setting up an E-mail link

1. Choose the E-mail option from the Link Type drop-down menu, located on the Link Info tab of the Link pop-up.

This option allows the subscriber to send an email by clicking on a link from inside your newsletter. Typically you'd use this alongside a "Contact us!" link, adding your contact email address, with a related subject line and body.

2. Type-in the receiving email address on the available E-Mail Address field.
This is the email address which will be receiving the email.

3. Type-in the subject of the email, on the available Message Subject field.

4. Type-in the body of the email on the available Message Body field.

5. Click on the OK button when you're done.

In addition to the above options, you can even set up Anchors inside your landing page, which allow you to add some clever internal navigation inside your landing page design. Additionally you can use other elements instead of text to act as links: images work nicely for this purpose and so does the available Article element.
