Pause your automation or edit its workflow

Creating custom automations is a simple task, but it Is not always possible to foresee all your future needs right from the start. That is why our platform gives you completely open-ended editing and pausing facilities for your automations, so that you rethink your workflow and edit it accord to your needs.

It is important that your automation works exactly as you want it to, and that it reaches the goals that you have set. Spend some time to customize it to your needs and add to it as your campaigns progresses.

Let's see how this is achieved:

A. Pausing an automation

1. On your Dashboard, hover your mouse over the Automation tab.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_1.png

 

2. Toggle the blue-colored ACTIVE button.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_2.png

The button should be toggled so that it is grey-colored and INACTIVE, indicating that your automation won't be getting triggered unless you reactivate it. You will also find that the same button that toggles your automation between ACTIVE/INACTIVE is also located above your automation's workflow when you edit it (see below).

 

B. Unpausing an automation

1. On your Dashboard, hover your mouse over the Automation tab.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_3.png

 

2. Toggle the grey-colored INACTIVE button.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_4.png

The button should be toggled so that it is blue-colored and ACTIVE, indicating that your automation is now running. You will also find that the same button that toggles your automation between ACTIVE/INACTIVE is also located above your automation's workflow when you edit it (see below).

C. Editing a workflow

1. On your Dashboard, hover your mouse over the Automation tab.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_5.png

 

2. Click on the three-dots menu, right beside the automation that you wish to edit and then tap on the Edit option.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_6.png

Alternatively, you can click directly on the automation's name.


3. Click on the + sign at the intersection of the workflow where you want to add a step.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_new_7.png

 

4. Click on the three-dots menu located on the right side of the step which you want to remove and then tap on the Remove option.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_8.png

 

5. Click on the Undo button on the pop-up message that appears if you want to undo the removal.pause_my_automation_or_edit_its_workflow_9.png
