How does the "When someone opens a specific campaign" trigger work

A trigger is the first thing you will need to set up when designing your automation workflow - we have several types of triggers available to choose from. The "When someone opens a specific campaign" trigger is aptly named, as it reacts when someone opens a specific campaign by firing up your automation.

There are two parameters that you need to define on this type of trigger:
1. You need to choose whether the automation will be triggered for every open your subscriber makes, or whether it will be triggered only on the first open.open_specific_campaign_automation.png

2. The second parameter you need to define is the name of the campaign which your subscribers need to open in order to trigger your automation.

You can find the available campaigns on the drop-down menu. Keep in mind that only opens from this particular campaign will trigger the workflow. After you are done, click on the Save button to have your trigger ready and waiting inside your workflow.

You have taken your first step in creating an automation workflow that will be triggered whenever someone opens a specific campaign.
