A Trigger is the first thing you will need to set up when designing your automation - we have several types of triggers available to choose from. The "When someone submits a specific form" trigger will fire your automation when someone submits a specific Subscription Form or a form that is included in a Landing Page.
You will need to define the following two parameters:
1. Whether the automation will be triggered every time a contact submits a specific form, or whether it will be triggered only the first time per contact.
2. The second parameter you need to define is the name of the Subscription Form or Landing Page that your subscribers need to submit in order to trigger your automation.
After you are done, click on the Save button to have your trigger ready and waiting inside your workflow.
Keep in mind that this automation will be triggered for Unverified members as well, in case you have set up double opt-in for the email list that is connected with your form.
This is the first step in creating an automation workflow that will be triggered whenever someone fills in a specific form. Learning how the available Conditional / Control steps and the available Actions work will help you finalize your design.
