When designing your own automation workflow the first that you will need to do is choose a trigger out of the available trigger types. The trigger titled "When someone views any product" is one of the trigger types that requires that you first set up your account in our platform so that it identifies your website users in order for it to work. This trigger reacts by putting your automation in motion when someone views a product that meets specific conditions, inside one of your websites.
There are two parameters that you need to define on this type of trigger:
1. You need to choose whether the automation will be triggered every time someone views a product that meets your conditions, or whether it will be triggered only the first time the product is viewed.
2. The second parameter you need to define is the website on which the product needs to be viewed, in order to trigger your automation.
You can find a list of the websites which you manage on the drop-down menu, as well as an option to track all of your websites. Based on your choice, events from a selected website will be used, ignoring all other websites, or events from all of your websites will be used. After you are done, click on the Save button to have your trigger ready and waiting inside your workflow.
This was the first step towards creating your own automation which will be triggered whenever someone purchases any product from your website. To move ahead with your current design you should take a look at how to use the Conditional / Control steps and how to use Actions.
