Set up SPF & DKIM on your Register.com provider

Correctly setting up SPF and DKIM is very important as it will increase the deliverability of your campaigns. If your aim is to have professional results from your email marketing efforts, then it's almost mandatory to look into what the following simple procedure, which will greatly impact the success of your campaigns and allow them to reach your subscribers' inbox.

First, you need to make sure you know where to find the required SPF & DKIM information inside your account in our platform. Then all you have to do is follow the steps described below:

 

A. Setting up SPF
1. Log in to your Register.com Account.

2. Under the (blue-colored) My Accounts tab, click the domain you want to set the SPF record.

3. Scroll down to the Advanced Technical Settings heading.

4. Click Edit TXT Records (SPF).

5. Fill in the following fields:

  • Host
    Leave the Host Name field blank, or set it to your subdomain name if you use one.

  • Txt Record
    After locating the SPF TXT records of your sender on your account in our platform, enter the provided TXT record value.

    Example SPF TXT record value for your Register.com provider:
    v=spf1 include:spfa.mailendo.com ~all


6. Click on Continue.

Keep in mind that if you already have an SPF record, all you need to do is to edit the SPF which is already available. Make sure you avoid creating two SPF records as this will make your SPF invalid.

B. Setting up DKIM/ Domain key

1. Log in to your Register.com Account.

2. Under the (blue-colored) My Accounts tab, click the domain you want to set the DKIM record.

3. Scroll down to the Advanced Technical Settings heading.

4. Click Edit CNAME (Domain Aliases) Records.

5. Fill in the following fields:

  • Alias
    After locating the DKIM record of your sender on your account in our platform, enter the provided TXT record name.

    Example DKIM TXT record name for your Register.com provider:
    ms._domainkey.mydomain.com
  • Points to
    After locating the DKIM record of your sender on your account in our platform, select Other Host and enter the provided TXT record value.

    Example DKIM TXT record value for your Register.com provider:
    k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADvOasfEIjT4S15emucwZhxKaWgikEeI7zzyj

 

6. Click on Continue.

 

Usually, 30 minutes are required in order for newly created records to take effect. Also, it is highly recommended that you check that you have correctly completed the verification procedure through your account in our platform.
