Set up SPF & DKIM on your Namecheap provider

It is very important to set up SPF and DKIM correctly as it improves the deliverability of your campaigns. First, you must make sure you know where to find the required SPF and DKIM information inside your account in our platform then set up SPF and DKIM on your provider.

Usually, it takes 30 minutes for newly created records to take effect. Also, we recommend that you have checked the validity of your SPF and DKIM records.

Warning: Do not create two SPF records because this makes your SPF invalid. If you already have an existing SPF record, edit it instead of creating a new one.

A. Set up SPF

To set up SPF for Namecheap:

  1. Sign in to your Namecheap account.
  2. On the left sidebar, click Domains and click Manage.
  3. On the Advanced DNS tab, click Add new record.
  4. Fill out the following fields:
    • Type: TXT
    • Host: add @ that corresponds to your (sub)domain. 
    • Value: enter the SPF TXT record of your sender on your account in our platform. For example: 
      v=spf1 include:spfa.mailendo.com ~all
    • TTL: Use the Auto option or select for how long the server must cache the information.
  5. Click Save changes.

B. Set up DKIM

To set up DKIM/Domain key for Namecheap:

  1. Sign in to your Namecheap account.
  2. On the left sidebar, click Domains and click Manage.
  3. On the Advanced DNS tab, click Add new record.
  4. Fill out the following fields:
    • Type: TXT
    • Host: enter the DKIM record of your sender on your account in our platform. Use only the value ms._domainkey as a TXT Name for your Namecheap provider (do not use the part that contains your domain name, because this is Namecheap's system requirement). For example:
       
      ms._domainkey
    • Value: locate the DKIM record of your sender on your account in our platform, select Other Host and enter the TXT record value. For example:

  5. Click Save changes.
