When editing your newsletter design's layout, each layout comes with its own fully customizable group of row settings as well as slot settings. One of the most useful options contained in the settings is Slot Spacing.
To edit the Slot spacing:
- In the editing area, hover your mouse over a layout to display the Actions menu.
Note: Make sure you choose a layout that has at least two slots in it - anything but a Full Width Container will serve as a fine example. Additionally, make sure that your layout has a few items and added to it so that it is clearly discernible how changing the Slot Spacing affects the look of your newsletter design. - Click Settings to display the Layout settings in the editor's right pane.
- In Slot spacing, enter the spacing or use the up and down arrows to edit the distance between the layout slots from 0 to 2000 pixels. Increasing the amount increases the distance between the layout's various slots.
Note: It is easy to see that the distance between the slots of the layout changes in size when you change the Slot Spacing. You might want to momentarily change the Layout Color other than the default transparent one so that the slot spacing stands out more.
