One of the items in the Form Designer that you can use in designing your subscription forms is a spacer. You can edit the spacers in your selected template to add a space, a block of color, or a line between items in your form. Adding spacers allows you to finetune your design and prevent your content from looking crowded.
After editing the layout, you can edit the item in your design.
To edit a spacer item:
- In the editing area, click the spacer to display the Spacer settings in the designer’s right pane.
- You can either scroll down to view the available settings or use the Search field to enter the name of the setting you want to edit. You can set the following:
- Background Color: select the background color of the spacer item. The default color is transparent.
- Shadow Settings: click to edit the horizontal or vertical shadow length, adjust the blur and spread radius, shadow color, and then click Apply.
- Height: enter the height or use the up and down arrows to edit the size in pixels (px) of the spacer.
Note: In the editing area, you can also drag the arrows of the spacer item to resize it to a minimum of 5 px. If you need to resize the spacer up to 1 px, enter the value in the Height field. - Border Width: enter the spacer border width or use the up and down arrows to edit the width.
- Border Color: select the spacer border color.
