Check the validity of your DKIM and SPF records

After setting up and verifying the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and the DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) in your Moosend account, you must check that you have verified the validity of both your DKIM and your SPF records.

A. Check the validity of your DKIM record

To check the validity of your DKIM record:

  1. Go to DMARC Advisor, enter your domain name, and click Check my domain. You must not use "www." when adding your domain name.NEW5dmarc.png

  2. In the DKIM section, in the Enter selector field, enter ms and click Inspect DKIM.NEW5dmarc1.png
  3. Click Details to check if your DKIM Key is valid and what its value is. You must compare this key to your DKIM record in our platform.

  4. Log in to your Moosend account.
  5. In the top navigation bar, click Account_icon.png and click Settings.NEWIntegration.png
  6. In the menu on the left, click Senders.
  7. In the Email column, click the sender's email whose DKIM key you want to check.NEW5Sender.png
  8. Compare the DKIM key in the TXT record value field to the one you got in DMARC Advisor.

 

B. Check the validity of your SPF record

To check the validity of your SPF record:

  1. Go to DMARC Advisor, enter your domain name, and click Check my domain. You must not use "www." when adding your domain name.

  2. In the SPF section, click Details.

  3. Check if your SPF record is valid. To get more details about your SPF record, click SPF Check.NEW5dmarc3.png
  4. Similar to DKIM, you must compare this key to your SPF record on our platform. Log back in to Moosend and compare the SPF key in the TXT record value field to the one you got in DMARC Advisor.
