The double opt-in subscription process allows your new subscribers to provide their consent to receive your email campaigns. This means fewer false email addresses, more clicks, and more opens for your newsletters.
If you have already set up a welcome email automation to address your new subscribers, the email continues to work as it should, but is only sent out as soon as your subscriber has clicked the verification link sent to them during the double opt-in process.
If your subscriber does not click the verification link, even though they received the verification email sent from us, then they do not receive your welcome email automation.
