Track activity by location


Describes how you can use the default campaign report to track activity by location.

It is useful to get information about the location of your email marketing campaign recipients so that you can target the content and timing of your campaigns.


The location might not be accurate if you use a VPN connection, if your IP address changes, or if you use a Gmail or Google Workspace (G Suite) account.

To track activity by location:

  1. On the menu bar, click Reports > Campaign Reports.

  2. Click the campaign you want to view.

  3. On the menu on the left, click Track activity by location.

  4. You can now view the following widgets:

    • Top Locations - a map with the number of total opens originating from specific locations. You can hover you mouse over the location of each country and/or city on the map to see its statistics.

    • Top Locations by Country and City - a list of countries and cities where your recipients are located, ordered from the most opens to the least.

  5. To download the information as a PDF, in the top-right corner of the widget you want to download, click three_dots_icon.png and click Download PDF.

  6. Optionally, you can click Export Data to export the information to your account email as a CSV file.
