Work with senders

Abstract

Learn how to add or delete senders, or edit their details.

In Moosend, you can set up additional campaign senders, delete senders that you no longer need, or edit the name. This lets you use different senders for different parts of your list or for different segments and occasions.

Note

When you use different senders for different segments, try to stay consistent. Recipients can grow accustomed to particular senders and expect to see those names appear in their inbox.

Set up an additional sender

To set up an additional sender:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Settings.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Senders.

  3. Click Add new.

  4. In the Create new sender dialog, fill out the Name and Email of the sender. This name appears in your recipients' inboxes.

  5. Click Save.

  6. You now have a confirmation email message in the inbox of the email address that you added. Click the confirmation link in this.

  7. Check your Senders list to verify that your new sender is verified and has a Verified.png under the Verified column.

Edit the name of a sender

To edit the name of a sender:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Settings.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Senders.

  3. Find the sender you want to edit.

  4. Click three_dots_icon.png and click Edit.

  5. Edit the Name of the sender and click Save.

Delete a sender

To delete a sender:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Settings.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Senders.

  3. Find the sender you want to delete.

  4. Click three_dots_icon.png and click Delete.

    A pop-up message appears on the page confirming that you want to delete your sender.

  5. Click Confirm.
