Resubscribe a recipient to your email list


Change a recipient's status from Unsubscribed to Active.

After recipients are set to Unsubscribed on your email list, you can resubscribe them. You must keep your email lists GDPR compliant.


When you add a single subscriber to an email list manually or through the API, the subscriber is added regardless of whether the subscriber has previously been unsubscribed.

To resubscribe a recipient:

  1. On the menu bar, click Audience > Email lists.

  2. Click the name of the email list that you want to view.

  3. On the menu on the left, click View all members.

  4. Click the Unsubscribed tab to view the email addresses that were unsubscribed.

  5. Select the check box of the email address that you want to resubscribe.

  6. Click the Select action drop-down menu that appears above the list of recipients, and select Change status.

  7. In the Change status dialog, select Active and click Change status.
