Work with a client account

Abstract

You can create different clients or subaccounts within one account in Moosend to be able to customize how your clients interact with our platform.

You can use different clients or subaccounts within one account to be able to customize how your clients interact with Moosend. You can add multiple clients to your account, access client accounts from the same platform, or provide clients their own access to their accounts via a username.

Create a client

To create a client account:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Settings.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Clients and click Add new.

  3. Fill out the NameEmail, and Company fields for the new client. The email address will be visible to campaign recipients.

  4. Set Give account access to client to Yes to give your client access to their account. Enter a Username and Password.

    Note

    If the account owner has given clients their own username and password, the clients can directly log in to Moosend to access their account and manage their own email marketing campaigns.

  5. Select the following check boxes according to your requirements:

    • To prevent the client having access to the Support chat functionality, select the Hide support chat check box.

    • To prevent the client having access to the Automations menu, select the Hide automations check box.

    • To prevent the client having access to the Integrations menu, select the Hide integrations check box.

  6. Click Save client.

Switch to a client account

You can access your client accounts in the same platform as your Moosend account by switching to their accounts.

To switch to a client account:

  1. On the menu bar, click the arrow next to the name of your account in Moosend.

  2. Click the name of the client whose account you want to access. 

    You are transferred to the client's account and on the top left corner, the page indicates that you are  Browsing as the selected client.

    Note

    The first time you access a client account, you are prompted to go through the initial procedures to get started with Moosend.

Edit a client account

You can edit the details of your client accounts using your Moosend account.

To edit a client account:

  1. On the menu bar, click the arrow next to the name of your account in Moosend.

  2. Find the client account you want to edit and click Edit_campaign_icon.png.

  3. Make the necessary changes and click Save client.
